By attending Conclave, attendees acknowledge and understand our Attendee Disclaimer.
The safety of our participants and our staff is our number one priority. As such, the following 2 options are available and required to attend the 2021 SR-7A Conclave.
- 1. Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test: You can cut down your check-in time by providing proof of being fully vaccinated (meaning two weeks after your final dose upon arrival) or submitting proof of a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival. The sample taken for any test should be taken as close to arrival at Pipsico Scout Reservation as possible, ideally within three days. Test samples more than seven days old upon arrival are not valid. Both CVS & Walgreens offer free COVID-19 testing. Proof of negative test must show sample dates. Attendees using this option will produce proof upon arrival and inspected before Conclave check-in.
- 2. Health Screening & Self-Monitoring: Those unable to become fully vaccinated or produce a negative COVID-19 test will self-monitor in the 14 days prior to Conclave, starting Friday, September 3rd, and follow the protocols outlined in our Health Screening & Self-Monitoring form. Upon arrival, all participants using this option will be subject to a final health screening questionnaire and temperature check.
Upon arrival, all attendees will be subject to a temperature check. Those with temperatures at 100.4°F or higher will be subject to a second temperature check. If temperature is again at 100.4°F or higher that participant, and all others in their vehicle, will be required to return home or placed in a quarantine site until they can depart the property.
Those attendees traveling to Conclave in a vehicle in which any person is either unvaccinated, didn’t test negative, not in compliance with the health screening, or has a temp of 100.4 or over, will be required to return home or placed in a quarantine site until they can depart the property. This applies to all persons in the affected vehicle.
Please bring printed copies of your proof of vaccination/test or health screen as they will be inspected upon arrival and required before Conclave check-in.
All attendees should plan to wear face coverings throughout the event, indoors & outdoors, unless: actively eating, actively drinking, actively participating in aerobic activities. Failure to comply with our mask policy will result in dismissal from the event without a refund. Attendees should also do their best to socially distance at least 6-feet apart when interacting with those outside of the group they traveled to Conclave with. Please bring at least 2 masks with you to Conclave!
Additionally, upon arrival, all attendees are required to submit a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (AHMR) with Parts A-B completed. The AHMR can be found here and must be completed after September 19, 2020. Attendees aged 18 and over by the end of the event must also have up-to-date Youth Protection Training (YPT) on file in MyScouting.
These policies are subject to change, in accordance with commonwealth and local guidelines and changing circumstances. We will be updating procedures as necessary as we get closer to September 17th. For the most up-to-date information check back here at the Section SR-7A website www.sr7a.org and follow our social media accounts.
